How to Use This Kit:
- Take a little bit of the pipe thread sealant on your finger and spread it around inside the female threaded cap.
- Unthread your valve off the stand pipe. (It is standard that some water will come out when you take the valve off)
- Thread the female threaded cap onto the stand pipe.
- After you've done that, use anything that can pump air. Put that pump onto the air valve and let air go into it until you see a regular flow of bubbles coming out of the bottom drain. (With a battery powered pump, it generally takes about 30 seconds. With a hand or foot pump, it's about a minute and a half)
